Jason, Becky and Kids

FAMILY INTERESTS

We love movies. We are beginning to collect the Disney classics. So far we have the Lion King, Aristocats, Lady and the Tramp, Jungle Book,Brave, Tangled. We don't yet have any of the princess movies like the Little Mermaid or Cinderella, 101 Dalmations but would love to have them in our library. Only ones I am not thrilled about are Bambi and Dumbo (too sad).

We would love to receive any of the Book of Mormon or Bible animated movies on DVD. We don't have a VHS anymore. We do have a blue ray player which plays most dvds as well as blue-ray. We also love veggie-tales but can watch most of those on Netflix and we do already own several of them.

We would also enjoy a movie gift card. Regal Cinemas are our closest theater here in Wilsonville.

Family Gift cards for Costco could also be used to purchase move tickets for our local theater which offers discount tickets.

We also enjoy family games that are appropriate for ages 5 and up.

We are working on trying to gather better food storage and preparations for emergencies so any kits or ideas you have in that area could also be put to good use. Right now we have a little stove that Ann gave us and some canned goods.

We also would enjoy family tickets to local Portland children's theater/Portland zoo/OMSI science museum or the Mt Hood Christmas Polar Express train.

Eating out is a family treat. Gift cards to McDonalds, Spaghetti Factory, Domino's Pizza could be put to good use!

Christie's Family Wish List

Okay, this was not a particularly successful endeavor, but here is our list:

Family Interests, Hobbies and Activities

Geocaching -

We have talked about setting up our own cache but never have. Maybe supplies for setting up a cache would be fun. If you go to http://www.geocaching.com/ and click on shopping there are different items for use in making caches or if you have a good source for ammo cans they can be used for caching.

Another item that we have talked about using for geocaching but never gotten is topographical maps. Or maps that have forest roads in our area. Not sure how to find those.

Had trouble coming up with any other family ideas -
But we like movies, at the theater or home.

Our 2012 Christmas Gift Exchange

Okay, I have looked around and just haven't found a program that I liked for our wish lists.
So I started this blog.
I don't know if it is going to work,
but let's give it a try.
I have made you all authors so that you can post your wish lists.
If you prefer you can email me and I will post your
family's wish list.
Here is the Christmas exchange list for 2012.
Mom and Dad gives to Ghia's Family
Christie's Family gives to Mom and Dad
Ghia's Family gives to Steven's Family
Jason's Family gives to Christie's Family
Steven's Family gives Jason's Family

(totally random first draw of the online hat and I see how to do it next year, hope the program is still there!)
Riley is out of the exchange for this year as she is traveling and hopefully collecting wonderful presents for future years!!!!!
Your wish lists should have list of interests/hobbies
(perhaps 3 to 5) for you as a family
and also as individual family members.

If you aren't sure about family gifts,
You can also buy for individual family members if you want just keep it in the total budget of $35.00-$45.00 for the family.
